Sparks descended on Hinkley Point C for the first time this week, bringing traffic to a standstill and disrupting the buses taking the 6am shift into work – as news emerged that the ESO grade isn’t being scrapped at all, contrary to the misleading information being spread on site.
It’s just being changed to a new HSO grade – Hinkley Support Operative – and will stilll involve unskilled workers doing electrical installation after a shirt course.
As they say in the video – if this highly dangerous deskilling attempt goes ahead, NG Baileys and Balfour Beatty will find their jobs being disrupted throughout the country – and hundreds will be descending on Hinkley Point C to cause chaos.
